BY TAXI

Black Cabs - the traditional London Taxis, are licensed by the Metropolitan Police.

Their drivers are professionals, and have to pass rigorous exams before they are allowed to operate. They know almost every street in London.

All you have to say is "SIDNEY HOTEL London-Victoria, 68-76 Belgrave Road Victoria, please" and they will take you here.

You pay what the taxi-meter shows.  A Tip is not mandatory, but a rule of thumb is 10% of the fare.

For long distance journeys they can be VERY expensive.

Minicabs - are individuals who own a car, and worked together either under one company name which are registered or not but mostly they are not regulated - some are good and reasonably priced specially for long distance journeys.

Unfortunately some may take advantage of your unfamiliarity by overcharging and will not know the route.

BY BUS

The SIDNEY HOTEL London-Victoria is situated between Victoria and Pimlico Underground Stations. Bus 24 goes to Victoria Station, Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, Trafalgar Sq., Leicester Sq., Centre Point and north, towards Hampstead Heath. It stops right outside the Hotel.

WALKING DIRECTIONS

From Victoria Underground station
Please take the Wilton Road exit; once you are out of the station, turn to the right of Wilton Road should lead to Denbigh Street (Across Warwick Street). At the end of Denbigh Street take the first left leading to Belgrave Road. You will find us in front of you on the right–hand  corner of the Belgrave Road and Charlwood Street junction. (not more than 10 minutes)

From Pimlico Underground Station
Please take Rampayne Street exit; once you are out of the station, you will see Pimlico Library in front of you. By the library walk into Tachbrook Street and take the second left leading you to Belgrave Road. You will find us just in front of you, other side of the street on the right–hand  corner of the Belgrave Road and Charlwood Street junction. (not more than 5 minutes)

From Victoria Coach Station
When you come out of the coach station and stand on the Buckingham Palace Road, turn left after the traffic lights cross the road and take on your right Eccleston Bridge Road and carry straight on. The same Road name becomes Belgrave Road on 2^nd half of your walk. You'll be just in front of our door less in 10 minutes time.
